1: Why these students?    Please check our HOME page.

2. Who are these  ASM students?    They are former students of student missionaries from Mountain View College who came to their villages, or                                                                             nearby villages, to teach them the basics of education and about God.

3. Where do these student come from?   They come from the remote villages in the mountain ranges of Mindanao, the southern part of  the Philippines. 

4. How do they support themselves?  Almost all of them have no financial help from their families. To pay for their school fees, food and other      

                                                                      needs, they do odd jobs in and around the campus or in the town.

5. How did they reach the school where they are studying now?  To reach the school, some of them were given money for fare by kind benefactors,                                                                                                                     but most of them walked for several days with just the clothes on their backs and                                                                                                                              worn out thongs/slippers or shoes to protect their feet.

6. Are there no other schools near their villages?  There are some town schools near their villages, with no housing for those who come from the                                                                                                     mountains.

7. Where are they studying right now?    As of this writing, some of them are in Matutum View Academy (MVA) and Southeast Asia Institute of                                                                                         Technology (SEAIT) in South Cotabato, Philippines

8. Is my donation tax deductible?    Sorry...No.

10. Can I adopt more than one student?   Yes, you can.

11. Do all funds go to the student?  Yes, as you see we have tried to keep the admin costs down, and any cost not associated to the students will                                                                            be our personal expense.

12. Do you send out receipts?  Sorry but to keep the costs down we don't send out receipts. Your bank record serves as the confirmation of payment.

13. Do you give the money to any student that asks?   No. Student need to show that they are trying to find way to help support their                                                                                                                                 education.

14 Can I get the contact details of the student/students that I adopt?  Please send us a request and we will notify the student.

15. Can I send extra money for something specific to my "adopted" student?   Please donate all money though the bank account and fill the form                                                                                                                                                    out with the student's code and what it it for, in the "ANY COMMENTS".                                                                                                                                  
16. Are they found only in Matutum View Academy and Adventist College of Technology? No, we are want to help were ever we see a need.

17. Do you just hand out money to just any students? No. The Student have to put it an effort. re: keep grades up, part time work, etc.
